Recently Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) is formed. APC is the merged structure of APC and FESPIC federation. Following this merge, APC is responsible for all Paralympic sports for the disabled in Asia.
Nepal had consistently participated the Far East and South Pacific Games for the Disabled (FESPIC) since 1975 organized by FESPIC federation.
Furthermore, NPC Nepal has participated, along with its athletes and official representing Nepal, in Athens 2004 Paralympic Games, Beijing Paralympic Games 2008, and Asian Para Games 2010 Guangzhou, China.
It was for the first time ever in the history of Paralympic games, the NPC Nepal participated in Athens 2004 Paralympic games with four member's delegation. Among the delegates were a visually impaired female Athlete and a coach in wheelchair.
Subsequently, NPC Nepal also represented the Nation amongst the world in Beijing 2008 Paralympic games showcasing the outmost enthusiasm fierce performance of Nepalese athletes.
Additionally, IPC sanctioned international sporting events like Asian Youth Para Games 2009, Tokyo Japan also witnessed Nepal's utmost energy, enthusiasm and outstanding performance of Nepali athletes.
Furthermore, Asian Paralympic Games 2010, Guangzhou, China has become another historical participation of Nepal in terms of the largest delegation size as well as diversity in delegation.
The delegation also consisted wheelchair bound women athletes.
Currently, NPC Nepal is focused in training the athletes for London 2012 Paralympic games.
